CEREC Same-Day Crowns

Crowns, also called caps, restore structure and function to decayed, broken, or otherwise damaged teeth. In the past, crown restorations required at least two trips to the dentist. Crowns were often made of unsightly metals. Traditionally, placing a crown requires two office visits, messy impressions, and temporaries, but we've changed that! Dr. Rogers uses CEREC, the latest in CAD/CAM technology, to design, mill, and place metal-free, all-white crowns in a single visit.

Crowns protect teeth and prevent larger problems, like breakage, extensive decay, or abscesses. They can also attach a bridge, add structure to worn teeth, and cover badly shaped or discolored teeth.

Our main goal is to provide you with a natural-looking, metal-free crown that fits comfortably. CEREC technology allows us more control over the size, shape, and color of your crown. To craft custom crowns, Dr. Rogers will first take 3D images of your teeth. Then he will choose the proper length and color of porcelain and use CEREC to mill the custom restoration while you wait.
