Lasers Make Dentistry More Comfortable

Laser dentistry allows us to perform a variety of dental procedures in the convenience of our Honesdale dental office. Using laser dentistry, Dr. Rogers accurately and comfortably detects cavities, removes decay, and performs minor surgeries, such as oral frenectomies. We also use lasers for cosmetic treatments including tooth recontouring, teeth whitening, and gum re-contouring. Laser light produces very little heat, making it ideal for use on the sensitive tissues in our mouths.

• Biolase Waterlase Laser- Dr. Rogers removes decay without heat or vibration (like drills), which makes for a more comfortable dental experience.
• DIAGNOdent - Cavity-detecting lasers can find even the smallest areas of decay, so we can treat small problems before they get big.

LaserSmile- With this low-heat, teeth whitening laser, Dr. Rogers can also perform soft and hard tissue surgeries, such as oral frenectomies. Fearful and anxious patients benefit from the comfort of minimally invasive laser dentistry. Treatment and recovery time are shorter, as well. In addition, laser surgeries don't create the need for sutures, so you won't have additional dental appointments to remove stitching.
